Smart Buy Glasses

Graphic Design Mini Task

1 - Campaign Banner Design

Concept & Visual Approach
The banner is designed to promote The Essentials collection by highlighting three key attributes: affordability, RX value, and wearable everyday style. The main visual features a smiling young woman opening a frosted glass door to reveal a vibrant natural landscape. This creates a powerful visual metaphor: clear vision through prescription lenses opens up a better, more vivid world.

Layout & Composition
The model is positioned on the left half of the banner, focusing attention on the eyewear and the human connection. The right half is kept minimal and clean, creating space for copy and a CTA, following a natural left-to-right reading path. This structure is conversion-oriented and visually balanced.

Design & Brand Consistency
• Fonts: Lato and Lato Bold, in line with SmartBuyGlasses brand identity
• Colors: Brand orange #ff9800 for CTAs, grey #434343 for text
• Style: Clean, modern, emotionally resonant yet commercially focused
• CTA: “Get Yours Today” – action-oriented and visually prominent

Use of Tools & Creative Process
The banner was designed in Figma, using a base image generated via AI prompt (ChatGPT) and later refined in Photoshop for proportions, lighting, and composition. Textual elements such as slogans and micro-copy were developed through iterative ideation with AI, allowing fast testing of multiple directions aligned with brand tone and brief objectives.

RX Value Message
The banner communicates not just style but purpose: these are prescription-ready glasses designed for real life. The subheadline “Vision care meets everyday style” reinforces the blend of function and fashion.

2 - Promotional Email (EDM)

Objective & Structure
To complement the banner, I created a desktop EDM (600px width) that maintains full visual and tonal coherence with the campaign.
The email follows this structure:
• Logo header for brand recognition
• Hero image (reused from the banner) for visual consistency
• Headline: “Style that fits, Vision that matters”
• Subheadline: “Find your perfect pair and enjoy clear, confident vision every day”
• CTA: “Discover the Collection” – highly visible, in brand orange
• Promotional message: “Buying more than one? Your second pair comes at half price with code SECONDPAIR”

Design & Tone
The email reflects the same clean, modern aesthetic as the banner. Its goal is to drive clicks to the collection page by highlighting key benefits and using clear visual hierarchy. The visual and textual alignment between banner and email reinforces brand identity and ensures campaign cohesion across channels.

Use of Tools
As with the banner, I used Figma for layout and AI tools (ChatGPT) for copy ideation, refining tone, and streamlining the creation of multiple messaging options.

Both assets, banner and promotional email, were created to function independently, but also as part of a cohesive, conversion-oriented mini campaign. They are fully aligned with SmartBuyGlasses’ branding and voice, while delivering on the brief’s objectives: communicating RX value, affordability, and wearable style in a clean, modern format that drives clicks.
